The idea for Now For Something A Little Lighter came about while making things for my solo show earlier this year. These things had some heavy effects on me psychologically, and it just so turned out to be pretty heavy physically too. And I don’t think people take what I do seriously, so I thought ‘wow that must be nice’ and decided not to take myself or my things seriously for a bit. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still working through some of these things I’ve been working on up to now, but a little lighter, a little quicker, and a little less. I guess you can expect lots of things breaking, lots of sad things, and the occasional, brief, glimmer of intelligent thought (maybe).
